I'm McKenna Folmar! 

I’m a proud mom to two beautiful daughters, a wife to my best friend and biggest supporter, Spencer, a business owner, published author, stress baker, and self-proclaimed wine enthusiast.

Weddings have been my passion for as long as I can remember, and I’m lucky enough to turn that love into a career as the owner of Events by McKenna, a luxury wedding planning company based in Beverly Hills. Creating bespoke celebrations that reflect the unique love stories of my couples is what drives me, and I take so much pride in curating every detail to make their dream day unforgettable.

I’m also a storyteller at heart, and writing has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve published children’s books like The Adventures of Marjorie the Duckling and We Can Be, which inspire little ones to dream big. Most recently, I created The Art of Celebration, a wedding lookbook that showcases my work and passion for celebrating life’s most meaningful moments.

When I’m not planning weddings or writing, I’m usually in the kitchen baking something sweet (it’s my favorite way to unwind), spending time with my family, or enjoying a glass of wine while catching up with friends. I truly believe in celebrating life, whether it’s through the weddings I plan, the books I write, or the simple moments at home with my family.
